The supporters of Quinton City booed when Romaldkirk FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marvin Guardado didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 9th minute of the game. One of Romaldkirk FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Quinton City:s goal. The goalkeeper, Victor Padilla, was totally fooled by Quinton City's Erick Velis, who 11 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. After a defensive mix-up in Romaldkirk FC's zone, Miguel Chavez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Victor Padilla came out of the goal and Miguel Chavez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alexander Aguilar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Amaya, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Victor Padilla stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alfredo Aguilar's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfredo Aguilar in the 23rd minute of play forced Romaldkirk FC's goalkeeper Victor Padilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Miguel Chavez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Victor Padilla made a huge save. If Daniel Amaya had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alfredo Aguilar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 42nd minute, Alfredo Aguilar fired away a shot on goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Victor Padilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miguel Chavez, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. In the 88th minute Alfredo Aguilar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victor Padilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 89 minutes of play, Quinton City's Miguel Chavez made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Victor Padilla was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 97th match minute, Romaldkirk FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Amaya to maneuver through the defense. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Quinton City fans cheered their team off the field, for while Romaldkirk FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
