Eraldo Escalante's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Selvin Mora read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 5th minute of play. In the 8th minute, Benji Bustamante hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eliseo Jimenez was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 9th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After 10 played minutes Windsor got a freekick which was hit by Paolo Pérez. Eraldo Escalante could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Selvin Mora made a huge save. Selvin Mora stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dagoberto Aguirrez's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. Wilber Leiva charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Wilber Leiva the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Wilber Leiva hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Selvin Mora took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dagoberto Aguirrez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Dagoberto Aguirrez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Selvin Mora was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Eraldo Escalante managed to get in a good position for a shot. Windsor's supporters rose to their feet, but Eraldo Escalante was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Selvin Mora breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Windsor booed when Los Tigres Bayunkos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benji Bustamante didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 42 played minutes Los Tigres Bayunkos got a freekick which was hit by Ricardo Alvarez. Dagoberto Aguirrez scored 3-0 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Selvin Mora, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Los Tigres Bayunkos's Mauricio Meza in the 49th minute got a chance for a shot 49th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Windsor's goalie prevented a goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sarbelio Escobar was the one to do the kick off. If Sarbelio Escobar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 56th minute, Eraldo Escalante ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Selvin Mora was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Antonio Rivas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sarbelio Escobar in the 84th minute of the match. Selvin Mora made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eraldo Escalante in the 87th minute of play. Los Tigres Bayunkos's Selvin Mora played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dagoberto Aguirrez in the 88th minute of play. Antonio Rivas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sarbelio Escobar in the 91st minute of the match. When Dagoberto Aguirrez came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Windsor fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dagoberto Aguirrez couldn't finish the play. Selvin Mora stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dagoberto Aguirrez's shot from short distance in the 96th minute. There was no doubt that Windsor were the better team. Windsor's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
