In the 7th minute, Rothley City's Selvin Barraza dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Deris Ramos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 13th minute Ulises Zepeda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leopoldo Corrales saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Victorino Mena kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Carmelo Messias took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 16th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Leopoldo Corrales. Rothley City's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 17 minutes into the match, Countesthorpe AFC's Deris Ramos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Leopoldo Corrales narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Leopoldo Corrales made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ulises Zepeda in the 19th minute of play. 20 minutes into the match, Ulises Zepeda had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Leopoldo Corrales. Rothley City's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ulises Zepeda was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. When Rothley City's Ricardo Zapata in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Countesthorpe AFC's goalie prevented a goal. When Ricardo Zapata got free in front of the goal in the 35th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Jaime Morales was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. A collision led to Countesthorpe AFC getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Deris Ramos hit a great ball. If Ulises Zepeda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ricardo Zapata made a kick off. In the 53rd minute, Victorino Mena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Victorino Mena during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Rothley City's Victorino Mena got a free kick in the 55th minute. Rothley City's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Countesthorpe AFC the free kick. After 77 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Rothley City! After a rather tough play, Rothley City's Marvin Ruiz got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Leopoldo Corrales made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Deris Ramos sent off a good shot on target. Countesthorpe AFC's Deris Ramos got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 97th match minute, Rothley City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Braun to maneuver through the defense. The Countesthorpe AFC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
