Rene Pinho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Wilmer Del Cid might have been able to make a better finish in the 11th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over David Santamaria. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Wilmer Del Cid ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 15thth minute of the game Wilmer Del Cid who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but New Ash Green United's David Santamaria was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Wilmer Del Cid sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Antonio Galeas scored 0-1 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Felipe Aguilar, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 31 minutes into the match, New Ash Green United's goal looked a bit too open when Rene Pinho came free, but David Santamaria reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Leominster booed when New Ash Green United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benji Escobar didn't get a good kick on the ball. 43 minutes into the game, Marcos Palencia cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Felipe Aguilar was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marcos Palencia stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The nice shot from Antonio Galeas in the 51stth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Felipe Aguilar had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. In the 53rd minute, Leominster's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Antonio Galeas fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After 56 minutes of play, Leominster's Wilmer Del Cid made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. David Santamaria was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a little luck, Leominster's Felipe Aguilar got control of the ball when Antonio Galeas tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Leominster's Raúl Cortez got a free kick in the 68th minute. Leominster's Felipe Aguilar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Leominster from getting a goal against them. After 74 minutes of play, Leominster's Rene Pinho made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. David Santamaria was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Rene Pinho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 80 minutes into the match, New Ash Green United's goal looked a bit too open when Wilmer Del Cid came free, but David Santamaria reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilmer Del Cid in the 83rd minute of play forced New Ash Green United's goalkeeper David Santamaria to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Wilmer Del Cid had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 90th minute, one of New Ash Green United:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for New Ash Green United. Odir Magaña shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Antonio Galeas came free with the goalkeeper in the 94th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Felipe Aguilar could save by the left post. In the 98th minute Wilmer Del Cid shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Santamaria saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. New Ash Green United succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Leominster had controlled the match.
