When Quinton United's Cristian Machado in the 7th minute got a chance for a shot 7th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Howden United's goalie prevented a goal. Cristian Machado took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Esteban Suarez. Esteban Suarez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Juan Sifon hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Dagoberto Melendez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Quinton United getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Rafael Benavides hit a great ball. Esteban Suarez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Saul Umanzor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Cristian Machado managed to get in a good position for a shot. Quinton United's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristian Machado was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Esteban Suarez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cristian Machado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Esteban Suarez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dagoberto Melendez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilberto Dubon having to interfere. In the 39th minute Howden United were awarded a corner. Omar Zapata went to the cornerflag to take it. Gilberto Dubon stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dagoberto Melendez's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. Quinton United's Saul Umanzor got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Dagoberto Melendez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Howden United's supporters rose to their feet, but Dagoberto Melendez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gilberto Dubon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Howden United players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Quinton United were winning 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cristian Machado was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Howden United's Januario Díaz got a free kick in the 55th minute. Howden United's Esteban Suarez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Howden United from getting a goal against them. Cristian Machado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Esteban Suarez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Julio Cerna kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. In the 61st match minute, Howden United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Orlando Hernández to maneuver through the defense. Gilberto Hidalgo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Gilberto Hidalgo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 69 played minutes Quinton United got a freekick which was hit by Enrique Lima. When Saul Umanzor came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Quinton United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Saul Umanzor couldn't finish the play. 1-3 became the score in the 76th minute when Cristian Machado elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Gilberto Hidalgo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Howden United's supporters rose to their feet, but Gilberto Hidalgo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gilberto Dubon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dagoberto Melendez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 86 played minutes, Quinton United's Richard Benavides shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Esteban Suarez came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Quinton United reached it. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Quinton United had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
