Spectators: 6778 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1778, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Alberto Villarreal started the match with the kick off. Thatto Heath FC's Edgar Botello got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alberto Villarreal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edgardo Asad could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Ramon Posadas made a huge save. In the 10th match minute, Thatto Heath FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan Lovo to maneuver through the defense. Raúl Ruiz kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Edgardo Asad in the 16thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ramon Posadas, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Aveley's Edgardo Asad was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 16th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Henry Hurtado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enrique Paredes, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Enrique Paredes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Henry Hurtado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elias Botello in the 22nd minute of play. Henry Hurtado came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Thatto Heath FC's Elias Botello. But to his dismay, Elias Botello quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Edgardo Asads short, quick shot in the 29thth minute got Ramon Posadas to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edgardo Asad got free with Ramon Posadas in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Aveley's zone, Enrique Paredes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Henry Hurtado came out of the goal and Enrique Paredes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alberto Villarreal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ramon Posadas having to interfere. In the 48th minute, Edgardo Asad got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Elias Botello made a kick off. Benji Zelaya was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 55th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. If Elias Botello had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thatto Heath FC's Elias Botello got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 67 minutes into the match, Aveley's goalkeeper Henry Hurtado had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Elias Botello. Ramon Posadas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgardo Asad in the 69th minute of play. Edgardo Asad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Thatto Heath FC defense, Alberto Villarreal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ramon Posadas. The Thatto Heath FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ramon Posadas should have stopped the shot. 75 minutes into the match, Elias Botello dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Henry Hurtado, 3-2. After a rather tough play, Aveley's Selvin Gallardo got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Enrique Paredes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Henry Hurtado read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. Henry Hurtado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elias Botello, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Elias Botello in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Henry Hurtado saved Aveley from getting behind. Aveley's Henry Hurtado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elias Botello in the 95th minute of play. After some careless play in the Thatto Heath FC defense, Alberto Villarreal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ramon Posadas. The Thatto Heath FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ramon Posadas should have stopped the shot. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Aveley had won after a very even match.
