Stockport's supporters rose to their feet, but Eliseo Villarreal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wilmer Meza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Wilmer Meza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliseo Villarreal in the 11th minute of play. Arnoldo Calderon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Camilo Santamaria having to interfere. Gilberto Villarreal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 33rd minute Eliseo Villarreal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilmer Meza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Stockport defense, Augusto Lima kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Camilo Santamaria. The Stockport fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Camilo Santamaria should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Orpington AFC's Miguel Pimentel got a free kick in the 45th minute. If Eliseo Villarreal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

When the match had gone on for 54 minutes, Gilberto Villarreal took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Wilmer Meza to make any attempt to save it. Miguel Pimentel hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Wilmer Meza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eliseo Villarreal, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. 59 minutes into the match, Orpington AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Eliseo Villarreal came free, but Wilmer Meza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Stockport's Gilberto Villarreal got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Efrain Fernandez, 64 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Gilberto Villarreal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wilmer Meza read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. Stockport's Camilo Santamaria played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Augusto Lima in the 76th minute of play. If Arnoldo Calderon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Gilberto Villarreal kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Wilmer Meza. That made the score 2-2 in the 94 minute of play. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
