Spectators: 7730 (Terracing: 5799, Seating: 1777, VIP seats: 154) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Angel Carranza took the kick off in the first half of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorge Lara in the 3rd minute of play forced Bath FC's goalkeeper David Fornos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 4th minute Jorge Lara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Fornos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 6 played minutes Honduras Britanica got a freekick which was hit by Omar Larios. In the 7th minute of the match Angel Botello sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Primitivo Portillo skillfully saved the ball. Abraham Parada received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Primitivo Portillo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Angel Carranza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Primitivo Portillo having to interfere. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 25th minute of the game. One of Honduras Britanica:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Bath FC:s goal. Angel Botello shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. 35 minutes into the match, Angel Carranza had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Primitivo Portillo. Honduras Britanica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Angel Carranza was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After 38 minutes, Hector Bran mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bath FC and the Honduras Britanica players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Bath FC's Hector Bran got a free kick in the 38th minute. If Jorge Lara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half Bath FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jorge Lara made a kick off. A well-hit corner resulted in Omar Bustamante heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. In the 56th match minute, Honduras Britanica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Avilio Monzon to maneuver through the defense. Primitivo Portillo was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Angel Botello. When Bath FC's Angel Carranza in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Honduras Britanica's goalie prevented a goal. Primitivo Portillo had great luck who in the 61stth minute grab hold of the ball when Angel Carranza from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. 68 minutes into the game, Jorge Lara was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Honduras Britanica's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bath FC the free kick. In the 68th minute, Jorge Lara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bath FC's goalkeeper David Fornos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Honduras Britanica's Omar Larios got a free kick in the 74th minute. In the 74th minute, Angel Botello sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Honduras Britanica's Primitivo Portillo didn't even have to move. David Fornos came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Honduras Britanica's Omar Larios. But to his dismay, Omar Larios quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Abraham Parada struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Primitivo Portillo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bath FC. If Angel Carranza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Angel Carranza in the 95th minute of play forced Honduras Britanica's goalkeeper Primitivo Portillo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 97 minutes had been played when some careless play by Honduras Britanica's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Angel Botello was slow to take the kick. During this time Bath FC's players had a chance to rest. Angel Botello made a great header on Bath FC's corner, it was just that Honduras Britanica's Primitivo Portillo managed to reach the ball for a save. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Bath FC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
