In the 14th minute, Primitivo Lara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Tamworth's zone, Alexis Pacheco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alonso Lovo came out of the goal and Alexis Pacheco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alexis Pacheco got free with Alonso Lovo in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Primitivo Lara hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Alexis Pacheco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alonso Lovo made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Alexis Pacheco sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Newton on Ouse's zone, Eraldo Palma stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Max Ruiz came out of the goal and Eraldo Palma tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Max Ruiz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Giovani Villalobos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alexis Pacheco took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alonso Lovo. Alonso Lovo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Tamworth's Alonso Lovo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zelvin Suarez in the 37th minute of play. In the 39th minute Zelvin Suarez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alonso Lovo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zelvin Suarez did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised Alonso Lovo 45 minutes into the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Alexis Pacheco's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alonso Lovo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. Alonso Lovo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zelvin Suarez, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. After 76 minutes of play, Tamworth's Eraldo Palma made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Max Ruiz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Newton on Ouse's Max Ruiz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Giovani Villalobos in the 80th minute of play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 83rd minute of the game. One of Newton on Ouse:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Tamworth:s goal. When the match had been going on for 85 minutes, Tamworth's Raúl Salguero got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Max Ruiz. Alonso Lovo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zelvin Suarez in the 95th minute of the match. Newton on Ouse's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
