Pablo Fuentes charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pablo Fuentes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jonathan Ayala took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Douglas Velis. Douglas Velis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Jaime Victorino might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Douglas Velis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jaime Victorino ran back to his position shaking his head. 18 minutes into the match, Beccles United's goal looked a bit too open when Richard Posadas came free, but Jhalmar Carballo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jhalmar Carballo made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Félix Corpeño sent off a good shot on target. If Jaime Victorino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jaime Victorino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Douglas Velis having to interfere. When Jonathan Ayala came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Beccles United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jonathan Ayala couldn't finish the play. Richard Posadas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 36th match minute, Beccles United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nelson Carranza to maneuver through the defense. Ricardo Fornos kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. In the 45th minute, Jonathan Hurtado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Félix Corpeño sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 56th minute, Félix Corpeño left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cheadle AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Jaime Victorino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 69th minute, Nelson Carranza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Cheadle AFC's Richard Posadas in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Beccles United's goalie prevented a goal. If Félix Corpeño had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jhalmar Carballo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Félix Corpeño, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 79 minutes, Richard Posadas put it in 2-2 from a short distance just to the right of Jhalmar Carballo. In the 90th minute, Jonathan Ayala ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Douglas Velis was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. The Cheadle AFC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Beccles United were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
