The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jairo Moreno made a kick off. Carmelo Muñoz was a little too slow when Alexis Calderon got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 52nd minute. The score was now 0-1. In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Brighton's goalkeeper Mario Galdamez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Carmelo Muñoz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alexis Calderon in the 65th minute. When Leopoldo Galdamez came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Brighton fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leopoldo Galdamez couldn't finish the play. When the match clock showed 86 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Alexis Calderon sped through Horfield's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Carmelo Muñoz. In the 89th minute, Alexis Calderon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 93rd minute Leopoldo Galdamez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carmelo Muñoz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alexis Calderon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
