With a couple of smart ball manuevers Patricio Pineda in the 48th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pablo Contrera saved Chorley from getting behind. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Deris Vasquez made a kick off. Pablo Contrera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Josue Cruz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Chorley reached it. Augusto Ventura fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ulises Peredes having to interfere. The supporters of Chorley booed when Dartford City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guillermo Ventura didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 73 played minutes Wilber Flores shot from long distance. At first the shot seemed to be simple for Dartford City's Ulises Peredes to catch but Wilber Flores was lucky. It became 1-1 after the goalkeeper had been careless and dropped the ball into goal. 80 minutes into the match, Chorley's goal looked a bit too open when Patricio Pineda came free, but Pablo Contrera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
