Spectators: 6786 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1786, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Angel Fornos took the kick off in the first half of the match. When Deris Vasquez came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Chorley fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Deris Vasquez couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Deris Vasquez in the 10th minute of play forced Redruth's goalkeeper Christian Bermudez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Odir Gutierrez hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. After 13 played minutes, Chorley's Wilber Flores shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Christian Bermudez came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Chorley reached it. Redruth's Wilmer Muñoz couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 17th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Chorley. A collision led to Redruth getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Wilmer Muñoz hit a great ball. 22 minutes into the match, Redruth's goal looked a bit too open when Deris Vasquez came free, but Christian Bermudez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Chorley's zone, Adolfo Escalante stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pablo Contrera came out of the goal and Adolfo Escalante tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Angel Fornos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adolfo Escalante struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Pablo Contrera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Redruth. When Waldir Ruiz fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Redruth's protests and gave Waldir Ruiz a yellow card for diving instead. Wilber Flores shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Christian Bermudez didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 38th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0.

After a defensive mix-up in Redruth's zone, Augusto Ventura stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Christian Bermudez came out of the goal and Augusto Ventura tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Augusto Ventura's late challenge caught a Redruth's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Augusto Ventura helped the player get up and apologised. In the 59th match minute, Chorley was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Augusto Ventura to maneuver through the defense. In the 61st minute, Augusto Ventura got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 63 minutes into the match, Redruth's goal looked a bit too open when Deris Vasquez came free, but Christian Bermudez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adolfo Escalante got free with Pablo Contrera in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 69th minute, Adolfo Escalante made a precise shot to the right of Pablo Contrera. Chorley's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. The audience was convinced that Deris Vasquez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Christian Bermudez was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luis Cortez during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 77th minute, one of Chorley:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Chorley. Wilmer Muñoz placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Adolfo Escalante recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Redruth's Christian Bermudez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgardo Braun in the 93rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Chorley's Deris Vasquez got a free kick in the 95th minute. If Angel Fornos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adolfo Escalante could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 98th minute of the match, but Pablo Contrera made a huge save.
