Seating: 1788, VIP seats: 0) Deris Vasquez made the kick off and thus started the match. 3 minutes into the match, Chorley's goalkeeper Pablo Contrera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leonel Ancheta. Amilcar Melendez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pablo Contrera having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Nailsworth's zone, Deris Vasquez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Efren Barraza came out of the goal and Deris Vasquez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Deris Vasquez came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Chorley fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Deris Vasquez couldn't finish the play. After 11 played minutes Nailsworth got a freekick which was hit by Gabriel Olmedo. The supporters of Chorley booed when Nailsworth was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnoldo Pimentel didn't get a good kick on the ball. 14 minutes into the game, Leonel Ancheta cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Pablo Contrera was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Edgardo Braun hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. If Amilcar Melendez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Through an outstanding action, after 23 minutes, Pablo Contrera successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Amilcar Melendez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Pablo Contrera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Leonel Ancheta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 30 minutes into the game, Deris Vasquez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Efren Barraza was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After having played for 35 minutes, Augusto Ventura managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chorley's supporters crossed their fingers, but Augusto Ventura was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Augusto Ventura came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Chorley fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Augusto Ventura couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Augusto Ventura in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Efren Barraza prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 46 minutes into the match, Nailsworth's goal looked a bit too open when Edgardo Braun came free, but Efren Barraza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Deris Vasquez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Efren Barraza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Amilcar Melendez made a kick off. If Edgar Pimentel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Augusto Ventura had several of the Nailsworth's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 62 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-2 score and a disappointed Efren Barraza as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 67th minute, Leonel Ancheta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Augusto Ventura fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Efren Barraza having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Deris Vasquez in the 76th minute of play forced Nailsworth's goalkeeper Efren Barraza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Deris Vasquez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Efren Barraza was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. If Amilcar Melendez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 86th minute, Leonel Ancheta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Leonel Ancheta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pablo Rico kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. After 98 played minutes, Chorley's Wilber Flores shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Efren Barraza came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Chorley reached it. The Chorley players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
