Richard Asad didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alexis Rodriguez went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. When Esteban Villanueva fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Riseley's protests and gave Esteban Villanueva a yellow card for diving instead. In the 14th match minute, Horfield FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ismael Meza to maneuver through the defense. David Escalante was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 15th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Efren Berrueta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 29 minutes, Leopoldo Lovo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Riseley and the Horfield FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 29th match minute, Riseley was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leopoldo Lovo to maneuver through the defense. After 30 played minutes, Horfield FC's Misael Zelaya shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Efren Berrueta came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Horfield FC reached it. 35 minutes into the match, Riseley's goal looked a bit too open when Dennys Oporto came free, but Efren Berrueta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Efren Berrueta breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Efrain Aguilar scored 2-1 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Efren Berrueta, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Alexis Rodriguez's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 63rdth minute, Richard Asad skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Rene Guerrero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Efren Berrueta having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Horfield FC's Misael Zelaya got a free kick in the 76th minute. In the 77th minute of the match David Escalante sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Richard Asad skillfully saved the ball. Horfield FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 78th minute, when Alexis Rodriguez scored to the left of an out of position Richard Asad, making the score, 2-2. Rene Guerrero scored 3-2 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Efren Berrueta, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Horfield FC were awarded a corner in the 89th minute after Riseley's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Misael Zelaya took the corner. Misael Zelaya made a great header on Horfield FC's corner, it was just that Riseley's Efren Berrueta managed to reach the ball for a save.
