Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Julio Rico in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gilberto Garay prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Angel Huezo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gilberto Garay was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. Fidel Pedrozo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Gilberto Garay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Angel Huezo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilberto Garay having to interfere. Pingaseca's Julio Rico got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Julio Rico received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Gilberto Garay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gilberto Garay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Angel Huezo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pingaseca:s Douglas Bran showed great skill when he stopped Deris Mayen:s penalty. 31 minutes into the match, Ashtead AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Julio Rico came free, but Gilberto Garay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gilberto Garay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Angel Huezo, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Angel Huezo in the 35th minute of play forced Ashtead AFC's goalkeeper Gilberto Garay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 39 minutes into the game, Julio Rico cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Gilberto Garay was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Marcelo Ramos's late challenge caught a Ashtead AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marcelo Ramos helped the player get up and apologised. In the 41st minute, Marcelo Ramos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Angel Huezo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Julio Rico to strike the kick off in the second half. After recieving a nice pass, Pingaseca's Gabriel Magaña tried to score from far away in the 54th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Angel Huezo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilberto Garay having to interfere. 58 minutes into the match, Primitivo Canales had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Douglas Bran. Pingaseca's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Primitivo Canales was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Gilberto Garay stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Julio Rico's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. In the 66th play minute Angel Huezo came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Gilberto Garay. 1-2. Angel Huezo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilberto Garay having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Ashtead AFC's Alfredo García got a free kick in the 81st minute. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ashtead AFC's goalkeeper Gilberto Garay, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Angel Huezo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Gilberto Garay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gilberto Garay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julio Rico in the 88th minute of play. In the 90th minute Angel Huezo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilberto Garay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 91 minutes in the game, Julio Rico fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Gilberto Garay having to interfere. In a very dangerous position, a player in Ashtead AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 92nd minute. Penalty! Angel Huezo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match was over Pingaseca could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Ashtead AFC throughout the match.
