Spectators: 6782 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1782, VIP seats: 0) Julio Rico started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After having played for 3 minutes, Carmelo Arango managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sheerness United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carmelo Arango was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sheerness United's Hugo Pimentel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angel Huezo in the 14th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Sheerness United's zone, Angel Huezo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hugo Pimentel came out of the goal and Angel Huezo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 21 played minutes Pingaseca got a freekick which was hit by Gabriel Magaña. Avilio Zepeda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Douglas Bran tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carmelo Arango got free with Douglas Bran in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 34th minute, Avilio Zepeda got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pingaseca's Douglas Bran played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Avilio Zepeda in the 35th minute of play. After 36 played minutes Pingaseca got a freekick which was hit by Marcelo Ramos. Carmelo Arango sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Sheerness United's zone, Gabriel Magaña stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hugo Pimentel came out of the goal and Gabriel Magaña tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hugo Pimentel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angel Huezo in the 46th minute of play. Hugo Pimentel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Angel Huezo, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Angel Huezo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hugo Pimentel having to interfere. Angel Huezo in the 58thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Hugo Pimentel, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After a rather tough play, Sheerness United's Miguel Aguirrez got a free kick in the 59th minute. Hugo Pimentel came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Pingaseca's Angel Huezo. But to his dismay, Angel Huezo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Pingaseca's Marcelo Ramos got his second yellow card of the match in the 65th minute. The referee ordered Marcelo Ramos off the ground. The supporters of Sheerness United booed when Pingaseca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcelo Ramos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Giovani Brizuela kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Sheerness United's Avilio Zepeda got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Shawn Huezo came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Sheerness United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Shawn Huezo couldn't finish the play. Libardo Rodriguez was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 83 minutes into the match. 83 minutes into the game, one of Pingaseca:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Patricio Sanchez shot the penalty kick right outside the post. After a defensive mix-up in Sheerness United's zone, Fidel Pedrozo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hugo Pimentel came out of the goal and Fidel Pedrozo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Julio Rico scored 0-3 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hugo Pimentel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 93rd minute, Julio Rico hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sheerness United's Hugo Pimentel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julio Rico in the 98th minute of play.
