Micklefield's Libardo Lima played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Shawn Batres in the 40th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Micklefield's Pedro Carballo got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Selvin Carranza was out of position in the 47 minute of play, and Fidel Osorio capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Fidel Osorio really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fidel Osorio to make the kick off. The supporters of Micklefield booed when MARATHON was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alejandro Salamanca didn't get a good kick on the ball. Libardo Lima took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julio Coreas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
