Deris Cruz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Selvin Pedrozo, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. When Shawn Molina came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Alresford AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Shawn Molina couldn't finish the play. In the 40th match minute, Alresford AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gilberto Jimenez to maneuver through the defense. Padiham AFC's Douglas Barreto couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 41st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Alresford AFC. The Padiham AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Alresford AFC were winning 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Deris Cruz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Selvin Pedrozo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 66 minutes, Selvin Pedrozo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Padiham AFC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Alresford AFC for a fine match.
