Spectators: 6811 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1811, VIP seats: 0) 5 minutes into the match, Clanfield's goal looked a bit too open when William Castaneda came free, but Luis Canales reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 6th minute the ball was on its way in behind Clanfield's goalkeeper Luis Canales, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Whitley Bay United's Danilo Galdamez got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Patricio Ayala had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 12 minutes, Danilo Galdamez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Whitley Bay United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Danilo Galdamez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Wilber Umaña had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Whitley Bay United's William Najarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilber Umaña in the 22nd minute of play. The supporters of Whitley Bay United booed when Clanfield was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Milton Suarez didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wilber Umaña in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg William Najarro saved Whitley Bay United from getting behind. After 33 played minutes Whitley Bay United got a freekick which was hit by Victorino Umaña. Clanfield's Milton Suarez shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 34th minute of play. The shot was stopped by William Najarro but with some difficulty. Danilo Galdamez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ismael Jimenez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without William Najarro having to interfere. A collision led to Whitley Bay United getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Fabio Benavides hit a great ball. The supporters of Whitley Bay United booed when Clanfield was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ladislao Barquero didn't get a good kick on the ball. Patricio Ayala recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 49th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Danilo Galdamez to make the kick off. Saul Canales struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. William Najarro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Clanfield. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saul Canales in the 58th minute of play forced Whitley Bay United's goalkeeper William Najarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wilber Umaña's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but William Najarro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Clanfield's Daniel Pedrozo got a free kick in the 62nd minute. With a little luck, Clanfield's Luis Canales got control of the ball when Patricio Ayala tried to sneak it across the goal line. Clanfield's Luis Canales proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Clanfield from getting a goal against them. Luis Canales made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Danilo Galdamez in the 71st minute of play. In the 78th minute, Wilber Umaña left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Clanfield fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Saul Canales sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. William Najarro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Saul Canales, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 89 minutes into the match, Clanfield's goal looked a bit too open when Danilo Galdamez came free, but Luis Canales reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 99 minutes into the match, Clanfield's goalkeeper Luis Canales had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Patricio Ayala. Clanfield's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
