The Sutton in Ashfield AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benji Quintanilla should have stopped the shot. When Ismael Castillo fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Alex Nóbrega made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Omar Mendez sent off a good shot on target. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Julio Carrillo made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Douglas Carrillo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alex Nóbrega showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Omar Mendez in the 55th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Julio Carrillo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sutton in Ashfield AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Julio Carrillo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alex Nóbrega breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 62ndth minute of the game Omar Mendez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fernando KC's Alex Nóbrega was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Sutton in Ashfield AFC booed when Fernando KC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Misael Erazo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 83rd minute Julio Carrillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alex Nóbrega saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 86 minutes in the game, Ismael Flores fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Benji Quintanilla having to interfere. Alex Nóbrega showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Omar Mendez, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Alex Nóbrega showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Omar Mendez in the 95th minute of the match. Fernando KC's Will Carranza got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Sutton in Ashfield AFC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Fernando KC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
