Spectators: 6785 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1785, VIP seats: 0) After a defensive mix-up in Crosby's zone, Ernesto Villatoro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pablo Jimenez came out of the goal and Ernesto Villatoro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Allan Huezo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pablo Jimenez having to make a save. In the 6th minute Allan Huezo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pablo Jimenez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Crosby booed when Wath upon Dearne was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Giovani Arellano didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 10th minute, one of Wath upon Dearne:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Wath upon Dearne. Mariano Parada walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Primitivo Botello's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Juan Melendez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. Allan Huezo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Pablo Jimenez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Ernesto Villatoro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ernesto Villatoro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Crosby getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Cesar Medrano hit a great ball. Emerson Reyes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 33 minutes, Ernesto Villatoro made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Crosby's Pablo Jimenez tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Pablo Jimenez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Allan Huezo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Juan Melendez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Emerson Reyes's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. If Primitivo Botello had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Crosby players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Wath upon Dearne were winning 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Allan Huezo was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Emerson Reyes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Crosby's supporters rose to their feet, but Emerson Reyes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Juan Melendez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pablo Jimenez made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Ernesto Villatoro sent off a good shot on target. Juan Melendez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emerson Reyes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Allan Huezo in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pablo Jimenez saved Crosby from getting behind. In the 72nd minute, Emerson Reyes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 73 played minutes Wath upon Dearne got a freekick which was hit by Gilberto Hernández. Juan Melendez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Primitivo Botello, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. 80 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Crosby's Primitivo Botello fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. In the 83rd match minute, Wath upon Dearne was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Félix Bustamante to maneuver through the defense. Pablo Jimenez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Allan Huezo, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. If Ernesto Villatoro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 95 minutes, Selvin Torres mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Crosby and the Wath upon Dearne players grew even worse after the yellow card. Selvin Torres kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Wath upon Dearne eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
