Felipe Carballo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Deris Posadas in the 3rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rony Navarro in the 7th minute of play forced Olimpia FC's goalkeeper Paolo Hurtado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 9th minute, Sarbelio Vasquez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 10th minute of the match Miguel Viscarra shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Felipe Carballo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Sarbelio Vasquez's late challenge caught a Olimpia FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sarbelio Vasquez helped the player get up and apologised. After 12 played minutes Lytham got a freekick which was hit by Sarbelio Vasquez. Olimpia FC were awarded a corner in the 15th minute after Lytham's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Miguel Viscarra took the corner. In the 15th match minute, Olimpia FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raúl Hidalgo to maneuver through the defense. Felipe Carballo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isaac Mendoza in the 17th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 32 minutes, Isaac Mendoza put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Felipe Carballo. If Isaac Mendoza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Raúl Hidalgo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Felipe Mayen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Felipe Mayen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felipe Carballo having to interfere. When Sarbelio Vasquez was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 42 minutes had been played. Isaac Mendoza struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Felipe Carballo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Olimpia FC. Felipe Mayen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half Olimpia FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Isaac Mendoza got free with Felipe Carballo in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Olimpia FC's Raúl Hidalgo got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Isaac Mendoza kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Felipe Carballo. That made the score 0-2 in the 56 minute of play. Deris Posadas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Felipe Carballo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Deris Posadas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lytham's Felipe Carballo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Lytham from getting a goal against them. In the 72nd minute, Raúl Hidalgo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Isaac Mendoza blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Felipe Carballo having to make a save. In the 78th minute, Olimpia FC's Isaac Mendoza dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. Lytham's Rudy Viscarra got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 85 minutes into the match, Lytham's goal looked a bit too open when Raúl Hidalgo came free, but Felipe Carballo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Olimpia FC's Deris Posadas in the 87th minute got a chance for a shot 87th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Lytham's goalie prevented a goal. Raúl Hidalgo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 90 minutes into the match, Lytham's goalkeeper Felipe Carballo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Isaac Mendoza. Rony Navarro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 95 minutes, Deris Posadas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Olimpia FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Deris Posadas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Olimpia FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
