The audience thought a goal was coming when Isaac Mendoza got free with Luis Murgas in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Isaac Mendoza in the 28thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Luis Murgas, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Sheerness's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Felipe Mayen 29 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-1. Isaac Mendoza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Luis Murgas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Deris Posadas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 40 minutes of play, Olimpia FC's Deris Posadas made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luis Murgas was left in no man's land by his defense there!

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Deris Posadas to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Olimpia FC's Raúl Hidalgo got a free kick in the 52nd minute. In the 56th minute, Felipe Mayen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luis Murgas was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. Luis Murgas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Deris Posadas in the 60th minute of the match. After 60 played minutes Sheerness got a freekick which was hit by Mario Villacorta. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isaac Mendoza in the 61st minute of play forced Sheerness's goalkeeper Luis Murgas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 64 minutes, Paolo Hurtado successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Daniel Palma's late challenge caught a Olimpia FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luis Murgas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Deris Posadas, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Felipe Mayen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luis Murgas having to interfere. Luis Murgas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Deris Posadas's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. After 71 played minutes Olimpia FC got a freekick which was hit by Felipe Mayen. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felipe Mayen in the 75th minute of play forced Sheerness's goalkeeper Luis Murgas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 75th minute, Ronald Mayen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Isaac Mendoza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sheerness's Luis Murgas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isaac Mendoza in the 78th minute of play. When Olimpia FC's Raúl Hidalgo in the 80th minute got a chance for a shot 80th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
