Edgardo Parada fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felipe Carballo having to interfere. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 37th minute of the game. One of Sheerness:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Lytham:s goal. Rony Navarro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Luis Murgas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

52 minutes into the game, one of Sheerness:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Raúl Escobar walked up to take care of the penalty kick. Sheerness's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lytham the free kick. Mario Villacorta kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match.
