When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ernesto Gutierrez made a kick off. Jonathan Gutierrez made a great header on Sheffield AFC's corner, it was just that Peterborough City's Ismael Zaldaña managed to reach the ball for a save. Armando Cortez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ismael Zaldaña having to interfere. Ernesto Gutierrez scored 1-1 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ismael Zaldaña, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
