Leiston's Paolo Molina proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Leiston from getting a goal against them. Paolo Martinez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Oswaldo Pedrozo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 42 minutes, Oswaldo Pedrozo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Leiston's supporters crossed their fingers, but Oswaldo Pedrozo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Walton On The Naze City's Dagoberto Gomez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paolo Martinez in the 44th minute of play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

After 55 played minutes Walton On The Naze City got a freekick which was hit by Yasir Prado. Dagoberto Gomez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paolo Martinez, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Leiston's goalkeeper Paolo Molina, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Sarbelio Lima fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Leiston's protests and gave Sarbelio Lima a yellow card for diving instead. After 69 played minutes Leiston got a freekick which was hit by Sarbelio Lima. Paolo Molina took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benji Valenzuela, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pedro Salamanca struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Paolo Molina didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Walton On The Naze City. After a defensive mix-up in Leiston's zone, Benji Valenzuela stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paolo Molina came out of the goal and Benji Valenzuela tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pedro Salamanca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leiston's Paolo Molina played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benji Valenzuela in the 84th minute of play. When Pedro Salamanca came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Walton On The Naze City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pedro Salamanca couldn't finish the play. Leiston's Odir Bonilla got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 91st minute, Alejandro Santana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 93 minutes into the match, Leiston's goal looked a bit too open when Benji Valenzuela came free, but Paolo Molina reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Alejandro Santana was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 93 minutes had been played. After 94 played minutes Leiston got a freekick which was hit by Alejandro Santana. If Benji Valenzuela had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leiston's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
