Seating: 1806, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Luis Ocampo took the kick off in the first half of the match. A collision led to Tettenhall getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Edgardo Villacorta hit a great ball. After 7 played minutes Curdridge got a freekick which was hit by Patricio Bustamante. In the 8th minute Waldir Arango shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enrique Mora saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Max Talia in the 11th minute of play forced Curdridge's goalkeeper Enrique Mora to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 12th minute, Max Talia left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tettenhall fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Max Talia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tettenhall's supporters rose to their feet, but Max Talia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Enrique Mora breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 27th minute of the match Angel Hidalgo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Enrique Mora skillfully saved the ball. Saul Mayen came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Curdridge's Libardo Mejia. But to his dismay, Libardo Mejia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexander Flamenco in the 34th minute of play forced Tettenhall's goalkeeper Saul Mayen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 36 minutes into the match, Tettenhall's goalkeeper Saul Mayen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Libardo Mejia. Alexander Flamenco struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Saul Mayen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Curdridge. Libardo Mejia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Saul Mayen having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Patricio Bustamante during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Tettenhall booed when Curdridge was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patricio Bustamante didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Max Talia to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Curdridge's Libardo Mejia sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Saul Mayen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Curdridge booed when Tettenhall was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adolfo Coreas didn't get a good kick on the ball. 57 minutes had been played when some careless play by Tettenhall's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gabriel Rivero was slow to take the kick. During this time Curdridge's players had a chance to rest. Libardo Mejia might have been able to make a better finish in the 63rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Saul Mayen. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Libardo Mejia ran back to his position shaking his head. Tettenhall's Saul Mayen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Ocampo in the 63rd minute of play. Waldir Arango received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Enrique Mora tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Tettenhall defense, Libardo Mejia kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Saul Mayen. The Tettenhall fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Saul Mayen should have stopped the shot. Alexander Flamenco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Saul Mayen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Max Talia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enrique Mora having to interfere. 81 minutes into the match, Tettenhall's goal looked a bit too open when Patricio Bustamante came free, but Saul Mayen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Adolfo Coreas's late challenge caught a Curdridge's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Adolfo Coreas helped the player get up and apologised. If Waldir Arango had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luis Ocampo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Saul Mayen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Enrique Mora took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Max Talia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Curdridge's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
