Spectators: 6779 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1779, VIP seats: 0) Jairo Costas started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Jairo Costas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Orlando Mejia having to interfere. In the 5th match minute, Arnold was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ismael Llorente to maneuver through the defense. Ulises Pedrozo was a little too slow when Ruben Gallardo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 9th minute. The score was now 1-0. 13 minutes into the match, Omar Umanzor notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Arnold's Orlando Mejia. Orlando Mejia was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ulises Pedrozo made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Edgar Berrueta sent off a good shot on target. Primitivo Morales hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Francisco Mondragon took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 21st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Orlando Mejia. Arnold's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Omar Umanzor during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Omar Umanzor hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Edgar Berrueta succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-1 in the 28th playminute. The audience was convinced that Fabio Rodriguez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ulises Pedrozo was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. Ismael Llorente charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ismael Llorente the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Tintagel United booed when Arnold was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ismael Llorente didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marvin Flamenco came free in the 41st minute and tried to tip the ball over Orlando Mejia, but to the joy of Arnold's supporters the ball hit the crossbar and out. 44 minutes into the game, Armando Zelaya cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Orlando Mejia was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fabio Rodriguez was the one to do the kick off. Orlando Mejia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jairo Costas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edgar Berrueta's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ulises Pedrozo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. When Miguel Rivero fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tintagel United's protests and gave Miguel Rivero a yellow card for diving instead. In the 59th minute, Armando Zelaya ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Orlando Mejia was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. Fabio Rodriguez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ulises Pedrozo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. If Fabio Rodriguez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 84th minute Fabio Rodriguez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ulises Pedrozo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Armando Zelaya's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Orlando Mejia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. Fidel Portillo shot from long distance in the 87th minute, but Orlando Mejia was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. With his leg Orlando Mejia managed to avoid a goal in the 89thth minute, when Tintagel United's Armando Zelaya fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 95 minutes into the match, Tintagel United's goal looked a bit too open when Fabio Rodriguez came free, but Ulises Pedrozo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
