Spectators: 6782 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1782, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Alexis Sosa started the match with the kick off. A collision led to Comberton getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Victor Orobio hit a great ball. Alexis Sosa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Felipe Rosales received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Allan Villatoro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Hector Villarreal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Enrique Flamenco during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Standish AFC getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Enrique Flamenco hit a great ball. Standish AFC's Allan Villatoro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felipe Rosales in the 14th minute of play. With a little luck, Comberton's Edgar Bustamante got control of the ball when Yasir Torres tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Standish AFC getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Ivan Lozano hit a great ball. Felipe Rosales fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Allan Villatoro having to interfere. 21 minutes into the match, Comberton's goalkeeper Edgar Bustamante had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Yasir Torres. Felipe Rosales recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Edgar Bustamante was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Alexis Sosa showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 25 minute of play. Yasir Torres recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Hector Villarreal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yasir Torres fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgar Bustamante having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexis Sosa in the 34th minute of play forced Comberton's goalkeeper Edgar Bustamante to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Standish AFC's Allan Villatoro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hector Villarreal in the 42nd minute of play. Jonathan Canales kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. In the 44th minute, Hector Villarreal left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Comberton fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Felipe Rosales stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Yasir Torres fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgar Bustamante having to interfere. Allan Villatoro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felipe Rosales in the 66th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Comberton's Orlando Canales got a free kick in the 67th minute. Armando Galeas, 68 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Edgar Bustamante showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexis Sosa in the 70th minute of the match. After having played for 84 minutes, Hector Villarreal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Comberton's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hector Villarreal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Comberton booed when Standish AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivan Lozano didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot 87 in the game by Hector Villarreal from a close distance when the talented Allan Villatoro managed to make a qualified save. Standish AFC's players were relieved. In the 90th minute Felipe Rosales shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Allan Villatoro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Felipe Rosales in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Allan Villatoro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
