Spectators: 6796 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1796, VIP seats: 0) Knebworth's Libardo Collado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Canales in the 4th minute of play. A collision led to Knebworth getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Gilberto Ramos hit a great ball. In the 11th minute, Edgardo Orobio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Edgardo Orobio struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Marvin Hernández didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Knebworth. The supporters of East Dereham booed when Knebworth was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felipe Arango didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 23rd match minute, East Dereham was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benji Erazo to maneuver through the defense. The audience held their breath when Alexander Liborio in the 25th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Marvin Hernández's left hand side. Mariano Canales was extremely unlucky when he, in the 26th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Edgardo Orobio hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Giovani Molina fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Libardo Collado having to interfere. Edgardo Orobio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Marvin Hernández tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 38th minute Emerson Menjivar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marvin Hernández saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Giovani Molina got free with Libardo Collado in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Marvin Hernández showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emerson Menjivar, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Emerson Menjivar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 46 minutes into the match, East Dereham's goal looked a bit too open when Edgardo Orobio came free, but Marvin Hernández reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Marvin Hernández made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Edgardo Orobio sent off a good shot on target. After 54 minutes of play, Knebworth's Emerson Menjivar made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marvin Hernández was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 57 played minutes East Dereham got a freekick which was hit by Mario Oporto. After a defensive mix-up in East Dereham's zone, Edgardo Orobio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marvin Hernández came out of the goal and Edgardo Orobio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Emerson Menjivar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Emerson Menjivar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Marvin Hernández tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Libardo Collado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Giovani Molina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Mariano Canales managed to get in a good position for a shot. East Dereham's supporters rose to their feet, but Mariano Canales was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Libardo Collado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mariano Canales sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Knebworth's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
