Max Campos charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Max Campos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Formby FC's Max Campos got a free kick in the 11th minute. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind Formby FC's goalkeeper Miguel Morales, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Miguel Morales was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Allan Baptista could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Miguel Morales made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erick Villatoro in the 28th minute of play forced Ramsey City's goalkeeper Erick Fernandez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With his leg Miguel Morales managed to avoid a goal in the 31stth minute, when Ramsey City's Allan Baptista fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Allan Baptista sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Formby FC's Ramon Ulloa got a free kick in the 38th minute. 3-0 became the score in the 39th minute when Allan Baptista elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The Formby FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Miguel Morales should have stopped the shot. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

Ramon Ulloa's late challenge caught a Ramsey City's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ramon Ulloa helped the player get up and apologised. In the 58th match minute, Formby FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ramon Ulloa to maneuver through the defense. 63 minutes into the match, Allan Baptista had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Miguel Morales. Formby FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Allan Baptista was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. After 65 played minutes Formby FC got a freekick which was hit by Ramon Ulloa. Erick Fernandez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erick Villatoro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Formby FC's goalkeeper Miguel Morales, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Miguel Morales showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgardo Díaz, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Joselito Villalobos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Erick Fernandez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 78 minutes into the match, Ramsey City's Allan Baptista sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Miguel Morales narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Allan Baptista in the 80th minute of play forced Formby FC's goalkeeper Miguel Morales to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Formby FC's zone, Edgardo Díaz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Miguel Morales came out of the goal and Edgardo Díaz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Miguel Morales didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edgardo Díaz went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. Rolando Anaya kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Joselito Villalobos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 94 played minutes Formby FC got a freekick which was hit by Max Campos.
