Henry Galdamez struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Marcos Ribeiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for South Woodham Ferrers FC. After a rather tough play, South Woodham Ferrers FC's Victorino Escalante got a free kick in the 19th minute. In the 23rd minute of the match Saul Talia sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marcos Ribeiro skillfully saved the ball. The supporters of South Woodham Ferrers FC booed when Club Deportivo Olimpia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abraham Alferez didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saul Lima in the 24th minute of play forced Club Deportivo Olimpia's goalkeeper Marcos Ribeiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Efren Barrera's late challenge caught a Club Deportivo Olimpia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Efren Barrera helped the player get up and apologised. After 26 played minutes South Woodham Ferrers FC got a freekick which was hit by Efren Barrera. In the 31st minute, Henry Galdamez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Club Deportivo Olimpia's Yasir Torres in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye South Woodham Ferrers FC's goalie prevented a goal. Saul Lima received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Marcos Ribeiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Henry Galdamez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Marcos Ribeiro came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by South Woodham Ferrers FC's Saul Lima. But to his dismay, Saul Lima quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. If Saul Lima had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 45th minute, Club Deportivo Olimpia's Yasir Torres ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Francisco Gallegos. Francisco Gallegos yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Saul Lima to make the kick off. If Elias Messias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 54th minute Yasir Torres shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francisco Gallegos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 58 minutes into the match, Club Deportivo Olimpia's Yasir Torres sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Francisco Gallegos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Henry Galdamez managed to get in a good position for a shot. South Woodham Ferrers FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Henry Galdamez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcos Ribeiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 66th minute, Elias Messias made a precise shot to the right of Francisco Gallegos. South Woodham Ferrers FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. Yasir Torres spun around in front of the goal 70 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of South Woodham Ferrers FC's goal. In the 72nd minute Elias Messias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francisco Gallegos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Elias Messias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francisco Gallegos having to interfere. Elias Messias scored 4-2 in the 84th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Francisco Gallegos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Elias Messias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Francisco Gallegos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Club Deportivo Olimpia's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
