After 4 minutes of play, Egremont AFC's Alexis Pacheco made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcelo Guevara was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 8th minute, Manuel Fornos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 15th minute Alejandro Alas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mariano Huezo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Alejandro Alas came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Angels city fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alejandro Alas couldn't finish the play. Gabriel Dubon blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mariano Huezo having to make a save. Omar Duarte hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Alejandro Alas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 24 minutes into the game, Julio Mora was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Egremont AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Angels city the free kick. The audience was convinced that Alejandro Alas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mariano Huezo was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Esteban Zepeda was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute Alexis Pacheco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelo Guevara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Augusto Flores hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Angels city's Marcelo Guevara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Esteban Zepeda in the 61st minute of play. When Esteban Zepeda came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Egremont AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Esteban Zepeda couldn't finish the play. Alexis Pacheco struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Marcelo Guevara didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Egremont AFC. After some careless play in the Angels city defense, Alexis Pacheco kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcelo Guevara. The Angels city fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcelo Guevara should have stopped the shot. Marcelo Guevara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Esteban Zepeda in the 81st minute of play. 85 minutes into the match, Egremont AFC's goalkeeper Mariano Huezo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alejandro Alas. After a rather tough play, Egremont AFC's Julio Mora got a free kick in the 85th minute. 88 minutes into the game, Alejandro Alas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Mariano Huezo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Egremont AFC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
