With a little luck, Wembley's Marvin Guevara got control of the ball when Ladislao Moreno tried to sneak it across the goal line. Hector Melendez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Wembley's zone, Ladislao Moreno stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marvin Guevara came out of the goal and Ladislao Moreno tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 9 minutes, Ladislao Moreno managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CATEDRATICOS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ladislao Moreno was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Félix Alfaro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marvin Guevara having to interfere. When Jorge Lara fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CATEDRATICOS's protests and gave Jorge Lara a yellow card for diving instead. After 16 played minutes CATEDRATICOS got a freekick which was hit by Jorge Lara. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Wembley's goalkeeper Marvin Guevara, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Félix Alfaro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Marvin Guevara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hector Melendez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rene Cetino having to interfere. In the 33rd match minute, Wembley was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Will Montes to maneuver through the defense. Rene Cetino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rudy Villanueva in the 36th minute of the match. Marvin Guevara made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ladislao Moreno in the 46th minute. Ladislao Moreno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Félix Alfaro was the one to do the kick off. Marvin Guevara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Félix Alfaro in the 57th minute of play. If Rudy Villanueva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marvin Guevara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ladislao Moreno in the 62nd minute of the match. When Wembley's Rudy Villanueva in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye CATEDRATICOS's goalie prevented a goal. Marvin Guevara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ladislao Moreno, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. In the 72nd minute, Hector Melendez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Hector Melendez came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Wembley fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hector Melendez couldn't finish the play. 76 minutes into the match, CATEDRATICOS's goal looked a bit too open when Rudy Villanueva came free, but Rene Cetino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gilberto Rivas during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 80th minute, Ismael Costas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Wembley's zone, Ladislao Moreno stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marvin Guevara came out of the goal and Ladislao Moreno tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Wembley players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented CATEDRATICOS from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
