After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Alfredo Huezo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Baldock FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Alfredo Huezo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edwin Castro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Pocklington's goalkeeper Edwin Castro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Alfredo Huezo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Edwin Castro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 29th minute Rony Montes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edwin Castro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rony Montes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rony Montes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Edwin Castro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pocklington's Edwin Castro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredo Huezo in the 35th minute of play. After 38 played minutes Pocklington got a freekick which was hit by Saul Escalante. Saul Escalante kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Pocklington's zone, Alfredo Huezo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edwin Castro came out of the goal and Alfredo Huezo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 47th minute Alfredo Huezo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edwin Castro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 48th match minute, Pocklington was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Saul Escalante to maneuver through the defense. 49 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Baldock FC's Rony Montes fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rony Montes to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Pocklington's zone, Alfredo Huezo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edwin Castro came out of the goal and Alfredo Huezo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 57 played minutes Baldock FC got a freekick which was hit by Roberto Padilla. After having played for 60 minutes, Rony Montes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Baldock FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rony Montes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alfredo Vinosis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Yasir Boianelli having to make a save. Edwin Castro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rony Montes in the 68th minute of the match. Edwin Castro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alfredo Huezo in the 70th minute. The supporters of Pocklington booed when Baldock FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emiliano Villanueva didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 72nd minute of the match Will Bermudez shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Yasir Boianelli showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Yasir Boianelli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fidel Mena in the 73rd minute of play. In the 79th minute Rony Montes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edwin Castro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rony Montes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fidel Mena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Yasir Boianelli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edwin Castro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rony Montes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. For all the effort they put into the match, the Baldock FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Pocklington.
