Dino Fantozzi's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Edwin Castro firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 10th minute Alfredo Vinosis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armand Marant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as FC Barandillas's Francesco Tarantini slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Edwin Castro. That made the score 2-0 after 23 minutes of play. Edwin Castro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Francesco Tarantini's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. After a rather tough play, Pocklington's Will Villanueva got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Dino Fantozzi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edwin Castro having to interfere. Edwin Castro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francesco Tarantini in the 37th minute of the match. Dino Fantozzi in the 38thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Edwin Castro, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 42 minutes into the match, Pocklington's goal looked a bit too open when Francesco Tarantini came free, but Edwin Castro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in FC Barandillas's zone, Andrés Huezo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Armand Marant came out of the goal and Andrés Huezo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 47th minute Alfredo Vinosis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armand Marant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Francesco Tarantini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 49th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edwin Castro having to interfere.

55 minutes into the match, FC Barandillas's Dino Fantozzi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edwin Castro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Francesco Tarantini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jaime Quijada hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. FC Barandillas's Armand Marant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andrés Huezo in the 60th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfredo Vinosis in the 65th minute of play forced FC Barandillas's goalkeeper Armand Marant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 67 minutes into the match, Dino Fantozzi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Edwin Castro. Pocklington's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dino Fantozzi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Armand Marant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saul Escalante in the 71st minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fidel Mena got free with Armand Marant in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Pocklington's Edwin Castro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Metin Başhekim in the 74th minute of play. When Francesco Tarantini came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the FC Barandillas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Francesco Tarantini couldn't finish the play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 80 minutes into the game, when Alexis Muñoz put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in FC Barandillas fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 79th minute. Penalty! In the 86th match minute, Pocklington was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oswaldo Bermudez to maneuver through the defense. Saul Escalante's late challenge caught a FC Barandillas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Saul Escalante helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Pocklington getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Saul Escalante hit a great ball. Dino Fantozzi struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Edwin Castro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Barandillas. FC Barandillas's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
