Arnoldo Rico showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gabriel Dubon, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriel Dubon in the 17th minute of play forced Gatwick FC's goalkeeper Arnoldo Rico to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Gatwick FC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Orlando Villarreal hit a great ball. If Ismael Orozco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 29 minutes into the match, Gatwick FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gabriel Dubon came free, but Arnoldo Rico reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ismael Umanzor recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Arnoldo Rico showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gabriel Dubon, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Alejandro Alas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnoldo Rico having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Arnoldo Rico showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alejandro Alas in the 90th minute of the match. Nicolás Reyes struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Marcelo Guevara didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gatwick FC.
