With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alfredo Huezo in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcos Ribeiro saved Club Deportivo Olimpia from getting behind. Marcos Ribeiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rony Montes, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Elias Messias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yasir Boianelli having to interfere. Yasir Boianelli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yasir Torres in the 26th minute of the match. In the 27th minute Rony Montes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Ribeiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Baldock FC's Alfredo Huezo got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Henry Flores during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 34th match minute, Club Deportivo Olimpia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henry Flores to maneuver through the defense. The referee ignored Baldock FC's protests and gave Rony Montes a yellow card for diving instead. When Rony Montes came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Baldock FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rony Montes couldn't finish the play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The supporters of Club Deportivo Olimpia booed when Baldock FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emiliano Villanueva didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcos Ribeiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rony Montes in the 58th minute of play. A collision led to Club Deportivo Olimpia getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Abraham Alferez hit a great ball. In the 62nd minute, Rony Montes reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Marcos Ribeiro. Marcos Ribeiro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Rony Montes was extremely unlucky when he, in the 87th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Marcos Ribeiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rony Montes in the 89th minute of the match. In the 89th match minute, Club Deportivo Olimpia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camilo Bentos to maneuver through the defense. In the 90th play minute Alfredo Huezo came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Marcos Ribeiro. 0-3. Club Deportivo Olimpia's Marcos Ribeiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rony Montes in the 96th minute of play. The Baldock FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
