When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Saul Lima made a kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dino Fantozzi got free with Francisco Gallegos in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Efren Barrera hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. When Fidel Medrano fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored South Woodham Ferrers FC's protests and gave Fidel Medrano a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of FC Barandillas booed when South Woodham Ferrers FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fidel Medrano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Despite being the better team, FC Barandillas failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
