Wilmer Umanzor didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edwin Castro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alfredo Huezo's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. Rony Montes received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Edwin Castro came out and tried to block the shot, but Rony Montes slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 16th minute. After 21 minutes, Wilber Gallegos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Baldock FC and the Pocklington players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 21st match minute, Baldock FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wilber Gallegos to maneuver through the defense. Alfredo Huezo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Edwin Castro made a huge save. After 25 minutes, Saul Escalante mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pocklington and the Baldock FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Saul Escalante hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. After having played for 26 minutes, Rony Montes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Baldock FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rony Montes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With his leg Edwin Castro managed to avoid a goal in the 27thth minute, when Baldock FC's Alfredo Huezo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Alfredo Huezo struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Edwin Castro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Baldock FC. After a rather tough play, Baldock FC's Roberto Padilla got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Edwin Castro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rony Montes in the 37th minute of play. Alfredo Huezo struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Edwin Castro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Baldock FC. Alfredo Huezo in the 43rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Edwin Castro, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Baldock FC's Rony Montes got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Alfredo Vinosis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alfredo Vinosis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Emiliano Villanueva suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. Edwin Bustamante charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Edwin Bustamante the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Edwin Bustamante hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alfredo Vinosis couldn't finish the play. Fidel Mena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Yasir Boianelli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fidel Mena got free with Yasir Boianelli in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Alfredo Huezo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Baldock FC's Alfredo Huezo got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pocklington's Edwin Castro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredo Huezo in the 74th minute of play. In the 76th minute Alfredo Huezo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edwin Castro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 76th minute, Roberto Padilla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Roberto Padilla's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edwin Castro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Pocklington's zone, Wilmer Umanzor stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edwin Castro came out of the goal and Wilmer Umanzor tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alfredo Huezo took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edwin Castro. Edwin Castro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Roberto Padilla struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Edwin Castro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Baldock FC. 95 minutes into the match, Pocklington's goal looked a bit too open when Alfredo Huezo came free, but Edwin Castro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alfredo Vinosis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Yasir Boianelli read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play.
