Pocklington's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Elias Messias was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Edwin Castro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Yasir Torres's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. Elias Messias scored 0-2 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Edwin Castro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Pocklington getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Andrés Huezo hit a great ball. 39 minutes into the match, Pocklington's goal looked a bit too open when Yasir Torres came free, but Edwin Castro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Club Deportivo Olimpia booed when Pocklington was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Saul Escalante didn't get a good kick on the ball.
