Spectators: 6836 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1836, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Dagoberto Sifon started the match with the kick off. 6 minutes into the game, East Dereham's Ronald Espindola nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ovidio Portillo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Selvin Pedrozo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Bowburn booed when East Dereham was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Humberto Mendez didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in East Dereham's zone, Dagoberto Sifon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nicolás Vasquez came out of the goal and Dagoberto Sifon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dagoberto Sifon in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nicolás Vasquez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ovidio Portillo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ramon Montes in the 23rd minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Selvin Pedrozo during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Bowburn getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Selvin Pedrozo hit a great ball. With a little luck, Bowburn's Ovidio Portillo got control of the ball when Ronald Espindola tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ovidio Portillo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ramon Montes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 38 minutes into the match, East Dereham's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Umaña came free, but Nicolás Vasquez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bowburn's Ovidio Portillo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Bowburn from getting a goal against them. In the 46th minute of the match Enrique Bonilla sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ovidio Portillo skillfully saved the ball. With a little luck, Bowburn's Ovidio Portillo got control of the ball when Ronald Espindola tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ramon Montes made a kick off. After 52 played minutes Bowburn got a freekick which was hit by Fidel Barraza. Dagoberto Sifon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 59 minutes into the match, East Dereham's Ronald Espindola sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ovidio Portillo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 60 minutes of play, East Dereham's Ramon Montes made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ovidio Portillo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ovidio Portillo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronald Espindola in the 70th minute of the match. Francisco Rivero charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Francisco Rivero the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 80 minutes into the game, one of East Dereham:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Bowburn a penalty, 82 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Alberto Umaña, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of East Dereham's Nicolás Vasquez. 3-1. When Fidel Barraza was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 89 minutes had been played. Fidel Barraza hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. If Dagoberto Sifon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dagoberto Sifon blasted a shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nicolás Vasquez having to make a save. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The East Dereham fans cheered their team off the field, for while Bowburn had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
