If Josue Madariaga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ronald Espindola in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Daniel Pinho saved Resistencia FC.com from getting behind. East Dereham's Nicolás Vasquez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mauro Guerra in the 27th minute of play. A collision led to Resistencia FC.com getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Edwin Gallegos hit a great ball. In the 42nd minute, Josue Madariaga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 44 minutes into the match, Resistencia FC.com's Mauro Guerra sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nicolás Vasquez narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
