Spectators: 5998 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1839, VIP seats: 159) 3 minutes into the game, Venganza's Christian Martinez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nicolás Vasquez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Ronald Espindola sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 16th minute Ramon Montes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Guardado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rolando Guardado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Velis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ronald Espindola's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rolando Guardado read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. Ronald Espindola sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Christian Martinez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicolás Vasquez having to interfere. 36 minutes into the match, Ramon Montes notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Venganza's Rolando Guardado. Rolando Guardado was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 42nd minute, Ramon Montes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alvaro Villatoro charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alvaro Villatoro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of East Dereham booed when Venganza was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alvaro Villatoro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ramon Montes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Rolando Guardado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rafael Alas to make the kick off. Ronald Espindola might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rolando Guardado. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ronald Espindola ran back to his position shaking his head. Ramon Montes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 62 minutes, Rafael Alas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venganza's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rafael Alas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ramon Montes in the 65th minute of play forced Venganza's goalkeeper Rolando Guardado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Rafael Alas came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Venganza fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rafael Alas couldn't finish the play. If Ronald Espindola had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luis Leiva charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luis Leiva the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. East Dereham were awarded a corner in the 92th minute after Venganza's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Enrique Bonilla took the corner. Venganza's Rolando Guardado proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Venganza from getting a goal against them. Rafael Alas might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nicolás Vasquez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rafael Alas ran back to his position shaking his head. After 96 played minutes East Dereham got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Velis. Amilcar Orobio took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 97th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Nicolás Vasquez. East Dereham's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The Venganza fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. East Dereham were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
