With a little luck, Galaxia FC's Augusto Najarro got control of the ball when Luis Zepeda tried to sneak it across the goal line. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Galaxia FC getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Benjamín Palma hit a great ball. The long shot by Isaac Gomez in the 49th minute really tested Augusto Najarro's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gabriel Cetino to make the kick off. Mauro Bautista fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Augusto Najarro having to interfere. Augusto Najarro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Zepeda in the 58th minute of the match. 59 minutes into the match, Mauro Bautista notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Galaxia FC's Augusto Najarro. Augusto Najarro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Gilberto Lovo came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Galaxia FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gilberto Lovo couldn't finish the play. After 92 minutes, Luis Zepeda mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Olimpia and the Galaxia FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Galaxia FC booed when Club Olimpia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luis Zepeda didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Club Olimpia getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Dagoberto Mejia hit a great ball. Eraldo Hidalgo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabriel Cetino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Club Olimpia walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
