Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) 4 minutes into the match, Hackney's goal looked a bit too open when Emerson Fernandez came free, but Ovidio Zaldaña reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Manuel Fornos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ovidio Zaldaña having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Shawn Martinez in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Antonio Barragan saved Nazarenos from getting behind. After 16 minutes of play, Nazarenos's Manuel Fornos made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ovidio Zaldaña was left in no man's land by his defense there! Hackney's Marvin Velis was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 20th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. In the 24th minute, Emerson Fernandez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Marvin Velis might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Antonio Barragan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marvin Velis ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 33 minutes, Shawn Martinez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hackney's supporters crossed their fingers, but Shawn Martinez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marvin Velis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Antonio Barragan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Josue Guerrero during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Nazarenos booed when Hackney was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Josue Guerrero didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Emerson Fernandez in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ovidio Zaldaña prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Diego Paz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 46th minute Emerson Fernandez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ovidio Zaldaña saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 49 minutes, Wilmer Bentos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nazarenos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wilmer Bentos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Nazarenos's Antonio Barragan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Shawn Martinez in the 69th minute of play. Ovidio Zaldaña was out of position in the 85 minute of play, and Emerson Fernandez capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Emerson Fernandez really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. If Marvin Velis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Nazarenos's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
