Alberto Barreto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Ovidio Portillo made a huge save. Ovidio Portillo was out of position in the 10 minute of play, and Augusto Díaz capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Augusto Díaz really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. With a little luck, Bowburn's Ovidio Portillo got control of the ball when Alberto Barreto tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 24 played minutes Bowburn got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Toledano. Alberto Barreto hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Dagoberto Sifon's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edgar Medrano was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. A throw-in in the 37th minute of the game was made by Jhonnatan Fernandez with Gilberto Arellano as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Jonathan Toledano's late challenge caught a Aslan FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jonathan Toledano helped the player get up and apologised. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Augusto Díaz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ovidio Portillo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Augusto Díaz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 57th minute, Jhonnatan Fernandez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 64th minute, Augusto Díaz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Selvin Pedrozo kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. If Augusto Díaz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Alberto Umaña had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. Dagoberto Sifon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dagoberto Sifon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Edgar Medrano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 97 minutes had been played when some careless play by Aslan FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Alberto Umaña was slow to take the kick. During this time Bowburn's players had a chance to rest. When the referee ended the match the Aslan FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
