Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Dagoberto Sifon got the match started through his kick off. Ovidio Portillo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabriel Cetino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bowburn's Dagoberto Sifon got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Dagoberto Sifon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 27th minute, Galaxia FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Alberto Umaña fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 28 minutes into the match, Bowburn's Alberto Umaña sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Augusto Najarro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dagoberto Sifon in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Augusto Najarro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gilberto Lovo charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gilberto Lovo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Bowburn's Alberto Umaña got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Daniel Collado hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Augusto Najarro came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Bowburn's Dagoberto Sifon. But to his dismay, Dagoberto Sifon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

In the 54th minute, Gilberto Lovo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Galaxia FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Dagoberto Sifon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Augusto Najarro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 62 minutes into the game, Bowburn's Dagoberto Sifon nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Augusto Najarro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriel Cetino in the 67th minute of play forced Bowburn's goalkeeper Ovidio Portillo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ovidio Portillo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gilberto Lovo in the 75th minute. If Ramon Gamero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 84 minutes into the match, Dagoberto Sifon had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Augusto Najarro. Galaxia FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dagoberto Sifon was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Gilberto Lovo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Ovidio Portillo made a huge save. Enrique Fernandez made in the 95th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Bowburn's Fidel Barraza. Ramon Gamero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Augusto Najarro having to interfere. Galaxia FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
