Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Mauro Bautista made the kick off which started today's match. Hector Cerritos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eraldo Hidalgo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 3rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Club Olimpia's Shawn Villarreal got a free kick in the 4th minute. When Luis Zepeda came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Club Olimpia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luis Zepeda couldn't finish the play. Eraldo Hidalgo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Rey in the 16th minute of the match. In the 21st minute, Jaime Pedrozo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Salvador Zapata was out of position in the 26 minute of play, and Luis Zepeda capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Luis Zepeda really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. After having played for 34 minutes, Mauro Bautista managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Olimpia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mauro Bautista was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Harlesden's Salvador Zapata played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mauro Bautista in the 35th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Mauro Bautista kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Salvador Zapata. That made the score 2-0 in the 38 minute of play. Salvador Zapata made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luis Zepeda in the 43rd minute. Luis Zepeda could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Salvador Zapata made a huge save. If Luis Zepeda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Luis Rey to make the kick off. Luis Rey blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eraldo Hidalgo having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mauro Bautista in the 54th minute of play forced Harlesden's goalkeeper Salvador Zapata to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Club Olimpia booed when Harlesden was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zelvin Pimentel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luis Zepeda struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Salvador Zapata didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Olimpia. Salvador Zapata showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mauro Bautista, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. 67 minutes into the game, Mauro Bautista was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Olimpia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Harlesden the free kick. After 67 played minutes Club Olimpia got a freekick which was hit by Mauro Bautista. If Luis Zepeda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Hector Cerritos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 81 minutes into the match, Mauro Bautista had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Salvador Zapata. Harlesden's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mauro Bautista was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. In the 89th minute Mauro Bautista shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Salvador Zapata saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Club Olimpia walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
